IRA AND VASSO

Ira and Vasso, all the way from Larissa - Greece. Not sure where that is, but we're going to look it up. It was great meeting them, they were good fun and we had a laugh together. Hope their trip to London was enjoyable.

THE STORE IS TAKING SHAPE

Thought I'd show you a few images today of the new store.
It's starting to take shape now. In the next few weeks we will be receiving more new stock. In fact we've just had a delivery from San Diego - a wonderful range of cards - a card for every occasion. As regular shoppers will know, we like to find new things for you.

As well as stocking a range of Jan Constantine cushions and ceramics, we have Tintin clothing and gifts, Orla Kiely handbags, purses and mugs. We also have the ultimate in striped breton tops - St James from Normandy.
Ever heard of Demano (Barcelona), well we have a range of their bags, wallets and purses. They are all made from recycled advertising banners - so a cool gift for anyone.
We have several architectural design mugs by 'people will always need plates'.

Enjoy the images.

SEVEN DAYS ON FRIAR LANE

The new shop has been open one week now - and it feels good. Some of our old customers have found us... some are probably still looking! We're also getting lots of new people coming in to say 'hello'.

Our first window featured the beautiful Jan Constantine cushions - we're thinking about the next window now. Tintin or Orla Kiely?

Here's a couple of images showing some of the Orla Kiely range that we have. These are new in for Spring/Summer. If you look carefully, you'll see that Mia (the dalmatian) is hiding in one of the images. Just when she thought she'd reached retirement age she's been dragged out to work again.

Hopefully the windows will be cleaned today, that has been a battle in itself - finding a window cleaner.

WELL, WE'VE DONE IT!!!

Well, we've done it - we've moved. We had put an address panel up at the old Joe's Store, so that you could find us again. However, the owner of the property decided she didn't want the sign up!

Today the new sign should be going up at the new property - making it easier for you to find us.

We're in there behind blanked out windows, with decorators, electricians and various friends who come to give us support. Hopefully today, the final touches on the first phase will be completed - meaning we will be opening our doors tomorrow.

If you're in town tomorrow - come and see us.
